Global Day of Repentance Turns Our Focus to UKRAINE and RUSSIA

Opening Scriptures:   2Chron 7 v 13 -14 and Ps 2 v 1-12

Focus on UKRAINE & RUSSIA - Thursday 10th of February - Global Day of Repentance

As part of a growing repentance remnant globally, God Willing, on Thursday February 10th, 2022 we will be having our Next Global Day of Repentance, this time focusing on Ukraine & Russia - focusing on being peacemakers in the Ukraine/Russia situation.

You and I, the little people, are loved by the Risen Christ, because He can move through us with His Gift of Repentance. Repentance is central to coming into His Kingdom in the first place (Matthew 4:17). It's also vital as His Way to cleanse as His Bride. He's the soon-coming Bridegroom. And repentance by "My people called by My name" is His Way of healing a nation. (2 Chronicles 7: 13-14).

 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall Speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: ‘Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to me, You are My Son, Today I Have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the Earth for Your possession. You shall break them With a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces Like a potter’s vessel.’ Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest He be angry, And you perish in The way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalm 2: 1-12

We are therefore looking at recalling the Godly Roots that has been planted within Both Nations - Ukraine & Russia - through repenting of past sins on their behalf, asking for God’s Forgiveness, in order to Loose His Hand to move upon the people of both nations.

Roots like:

•Deep reverence, healthy fear of the Living God

•Dependence upon Him

•Liberty from tyranny

•Freedom of conscience and worship

•The Bible as final authority in law and community life

•Bearing fruit worthy of repentance

•Loving neighbors; sharing burdens

ZOOM Call scheduled for Noon EST

We will also hold another two hour zoom call as a Global Day of Repentance, where there will be times in private to repent personally from any old sin patterns, thereby making the intercession that much more powerful. As it's the effective, fervent prayers of a righteous person that avails much. (James 5:16). Removing in private our own sin patterns grows us in His Righteousness.

At that point we can move, as His vessels, towards being those the Lord Jesus Christ spoke about in the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5:8-9: " Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
