7-DAY PRAYER POINTS

Here follows a list of Prayer points to use during our 7 days of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance between October 1st to October 7th. We will also look at some of these points during our Zoom meeting on October 7th.

Prayer Point #1 - Sept. 30th, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” (Psalm 90:2).

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, spend time with Him to "chew over" as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue of being distracted by the world and the the flesh instead of spending time with Him to receive fully His Love and Wisdom.

Declare

As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to enter His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17), to follow His narrow path (Matthew 7:13,14). I join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose to spend more time with Him to receive His Love and Wisdom. I choose His Salvation and His path of  holiness as an eternal gift for me and for all others in all nations.

Prayer Point #2 - Oct. 1st, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise. Exodus 20:1-3 could not be more clear: " And God spoke all these words: 'I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me." Praise Him that He said to Moses, " Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: " The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My Memorial to all generations.'"  (Exodus 3:15).

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue of following the world and its ways, placing any focus first on those issues instead of seeing Him as your Savior and your first love. " I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars, and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love."  (Ephesians 2: 2-4)

Declare

As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), and join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose the holiness He has as an eternal gift to me and all others in all nations. I also choose to act from today on, loving Him as my first love.

Prayer Point #3 - Oct. 2nd, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that He said to Moses, " Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: "The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts." (Leviticus 23: 2). Praise the LORD that He gave as feasts the Sabbath, The Passover and Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement [ when one is to "afflict one's soul" ] and the Feast of Tabernacles, declaring these to be a "statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings." (Leviticus 23:3-44). Praise God that this day begins this year's Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23; Numbers 29:1-6). This feast begins ten days of introspection and repentance, Days of Teshuvah, or Days of Awe, Rosh Hashanah. Many people have been taught that since Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, God’s holy days have no value for Christians. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The real meaning of these festivals remains hidden for Jews and for most Christians today. However, the meaning of these feasts can be understood with the help of God’s spirit. Yeshua/Jesus says in Matthew 5:17-20: " Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue of rejecting His Word, the Tanakh, the Old Testament, including His emphasis on repentance and atonement. No need to repent for just 10 days, or to "afflict your soul" one day a year; repent that this is not yet a daily spiritual practice. Exercise your free will to begin this key day to cleanse spiritually from old sin patterns, calling upon your indwelling Holy Spirit to assist you as you become His clean, chosen vessel. ( Matthew 4:17, Acts 3:19, Acts 9:15).

" Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19. 

Declare

As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), to receive His refreshing, and to join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose His Gift of repentance to be my regular spiritual practice so that I will "bear fruit worthy of repentance" (Matthew 3:8), and be a part of His Bride, His "glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5: 27).

Prayer Point #4 - Oct. 3rd, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that as the Messiah/the Risen Christ, He said to His beloved Peter: " Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, 'Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.' He said to him, 'Feed My lambs." (John 21:15). 

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue whether now as one of His disciples you have been "feeding His lambs. " Have you brought up children in the truth of Who Jesus/Yeshua is, and His Word? Have you "trained up a child in the way he should go, so that when he is old he or she will not depart from it"? (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4; 2 Timothy 3:15). Open your mind and heart to your Holy Spirit Teacher; be zealous to repent if "feeding His lambs" is something you left for others. Focusing His love in you towards all children, feeding them physically and spiritually, you are following also His Word in Matthew 18: 3-5: "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. "

Declare

As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), to receive His refreshing, and to join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose to feed His lambs. I choose to display His Love to all His children, including those He has created in a mother's womb. I choose to love Yeshua/Jesus by feeding His lambs.

Prayer Point #5 - Oct. 4th, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that as the Messiah/the Risen Christ, He said to His beloved Peter a second time: " Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me ? He said to Him, 'Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.' He said to him, 'Tend My sheep." (John 21:16). 

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue whether now, as one of His disciples, you have been "tending His sheep. " Have you left this assignment for others? Have you gone the extra mile to "endeavor to keep the unity of the Holy Spirit in the bond of peace?" (Ephesians 4:3). Open your mind and heart to your Holy Spirit Teacher; be zealous to repent if "tending His sheep" is something you left for others. Focusing His love in you towards all saints in His Church, as followers of His Way (John 14:6;Acts 9:2), are you tending them physically and spiritually? Are you helping to edify the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-16)? Are you growing His Church, advancing His Kingdom? 

The first believers in the Book of Acts multiplied His Church by tending His sheep: " Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied." Jesus/Yeshua calls each of us today with precious Words, this one an additional call besides John 21:16 to tend His sheep: " Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14: 12-14). All this builds love and unity: " I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word that they all may be one as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." (John 17: 20,21)

Declare

As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), to receive His refreshing, and to join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose to tend His sheep. I choose to display His Love to all people, bringing others into His kingdom, supplying my part in His Body (Ephesians 4:16), advancing His Kingdom, multiplying His Kingdom. I choose to love Yeshua/Jesus by tending His sheep.

Prayer Point #6 - Oct. 5th, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that as the Messiah/the Risen Christ, He said to His beloved Peter a third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?' Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' And he said to Him, "Lord You know all things, You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him: ' Feed My sheep.'" (John 21:17). 

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue whether now, as one of His disciples, you have been "feeding His sheep." The Risen Christ, the Messiah, looks to each of us as His disciples to preach repentance and the remission of sins (Luke 24:47).  In that sense we are feeding His sheep. He is the Good Shepherd, the "door of the sheep" (John 10: 1-5). He will judge the nations, the sheep nations on His right hand, the goats on the left (Matthew 25: 31-46).

Open your mind and heart to your Holy Spirit Teacher; be zealous to repent if "feeding His sheep" is something you've left for others. Focusing His love in you towards all in the world who don't yet know Him, and all saints in His Church, as followers of His Way ( John 14:6; Acts 9:2), are you feeding others physically and spiritually? In this end time when He is shaking heaven and earth so that the things which cannot be shaken may remain (Hebrews 12: 26-29), "Feed My sheep" calls each of us as His disciple to reach out to all others, in His Kingdom, and not yet in His Kingdom, providing physical and spiritual food, much like the shepherd, leaving the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. " Which man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ' Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I say to you likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." (Luke 15:4-7).

Jesus/Yeshua calls each of us today with precious Words, this one describing His call on us to feed His sheep: " Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14: 12-14). " I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word that they all may be one as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me." (John 17: 20,21)

Prayer Point #7 - Oct. 6th, 2024

Praise

Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that as the Messiah/the Risen Christ, He fulfilled prophecy with His birth, Message, death and resurrection, and that now many are awakening to seek Him. Psalm 2:7-12 says: " I will declare the decree; The LORD has said to Me, You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me and I will give You the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him." 

Those seeking Him include those deeply touched by this last year's war against Israel. Jew and gentile see His loving, fierce Hand on Israel, including this recent removal of all major Hezbollah's leaders. Matthew 27: 24-25 is coming alive: " When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, ' I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it. And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us and on our children."

This was misinterpreted as a curse, giving rise to centuries of hatred, death, antisemitism, a "two State solution" and false "christianity." As the Risen Messiah, the Risen Christ, His blood is no curse; it is holy and precious; it was then and is now, and forever will be, a blessing for all jews and their children, as well as for all gentiles and their children on His planet. " But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." (Ephesians 2:13). At that Passover meal before His crucifixion Yeshua/Jesus said: " Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. "(Matthew 26: 27,28). Early believers in Yeshua/Jesus were fervent in their devotion to Him: " Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood." (Acts 20:28). And His Love flowed, including these words: " But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven, for He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." ( Matthew 5: 43-48).

Repent 

Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue whether now as one of His disciples you have been lax in supporting His Chosen People, the Jews, and Israel, His Land ( Joel 3:2).

Open your mind and heart to your Holy Spirit Teacher; be zealous to repent if you've failed to see yourself part of His Body, His Church, part of the "one new man" Yeshua created with His blood, putting to death all enmity among humans: " For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity."  (Ephesians 2: 14-16). 

Having come into Jesus' Kingdom by repentance, and having received the indwelling Holy Spirit, can you receive fully His fruits of His Holy Spirit now to love all people, especially His Chosen People? (1 Chronicles 16:13). They now need our confession of our horrific treatment of all jews over the centuries, and our love for them and for all Israel at this time. Jesus/Yeshua was clear: " These things I command you, that you love one another." (John 15:17). His beloved disciple John later said: " He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another....Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. "  ( 1 John 4: 8-11, 15-19).

Declare

As an individual, and for my family and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today sincerely to repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), to receive His refreshing, and to join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1). I declare I will stay the course, remain in faith, endure during the Lord's shaking, resisting all evil. I declare I will speak His Truth, demand justice and righteousness as the standard, and make decisions according to His word and wisdom. I choose to awake to His call on my life and shine with His light, adding with other brothers and sisters in Messiah increased pressure against all that is false and evil in this world. I choose to see myself as part of the "one new man;" part of His Way, Truth and Life, His eternal Body. I choose to love all people, especially His Chosen People. On behalf of myself, my family, my nation, I repent for any way in which I was anti-semitic, believed "christianity" replaced jews, mistreated and killed jews. I choose to love all people, especially His Chosen People. On this October 7 anniversary of this horrific war against Israel I choose to stretch my love not just to all jews and to Israel, but also, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to follow Jesus' command to love even my enemies.  I declare that thanks to His Blood I am part of His Bride, a living stone in His spiritual Body, a partaker of the root and fatness of the Olive Tree ( Romans 11:17).

In Yeshua/Jesus' Name above all names, I declare the pulling down of the wall of separation of jews and gentiles, just as the walls of Jericho were brought down.
