REPENT AMERICA
Its churches turn to God’s Solution: Repentance
Sunday, December 27, 2020 - Wednesday, January 20, 2021
America Needs Healing: Will You Join Us?
God’s Solution: Sacred Assemblies Based on
2 Chronicles 7:13-14 and Jeremiah 18:7-8
•When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ~ 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14
•The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. ~ Jeremiah 18: 7-8
When such a call has gone forth in past generations, the Lord has always heard,
has forgiven our sins, and has healed our land.
•Given the current attacks on the Godly roots of America----the pandemic, economic hardship, the contested election---it's time for God's Solution in America: a sacred assembly based on 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 and Jeremiah 18:7-8, for His people called by His name to humble themselves, pray, seek His face and turn from their wicked ways.
•A call is now set for pastors and priests in His Church, across denominations, to pray and participate at any point during an eight day "Repent America" sacred assembly in local churches from Sunday December 27, 2020 through Wednesday January 20, 2021.
•The focus is on churches since the moral decline in the nation is a reflection of the lukewarmness, if not even the apostasy, in the Church itself. Judgment begins in the house of God. One suggested topic for repentance is division in His Church. Another suggestion is to have local churches conduct a joint repentance service in their community.
•During this Repent America period pastors and priests will be encouraged to preach on repentance in one or more services, including giving times of silence for congregants to have the opportunity privately to confess sins and repent. Time may also be given for those wishing to share the joy and blessing now of replacing an old sin pattern with His Word.
•Intercessors from many nations will also be invited to take time during Repent America to repent themselves and intercede for a restoration of the Godly roots and His Destiny for the United States.
