National Day of Repentance Calls for Another Time of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance
Proclamation of GOD’s people, called by His Name, Declaring a National (and also a Global) Day of Prayer, and Repentance in these United States of America

We learn in the book of Leviticus, chapter 23, that the Lord spoke to Moses and gave him seven holy convocations, "feasts of the Lord." These were to be " a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. "
The Day of Atonement, on the tenth day of the seventh month in the Jewish calendar, now known as Yom Kippur, was established by the Lord "to afflict your souls." On that holy day no work was to be done, an offering by fire to the Lord was to be made, and any person who was not afflicted in his or her soul on that day was cut off from His people. It was a day of solemn atonement before God to cover one's sins that year.
Today, and for the last two thousand years, eternal atonement for our sins was made by the perfect Lamb: Yeshua the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. Nonetheless Yom Kippur is still a holy day, a feast of the Lord, and a perfect day for prayer, fasting and repentance among Jesus's believers. Even with the perfect, eternal blood of the Lamb on the cross providing atonement for our sins, repentance is required to enter His Kingdom and to cleanse from old sin patterns, to be ready as His Bride. He is the soon-coming Bridegroom.
Since 2011 National Day of Repentance has called the ecclesia, the followers of the Risen Christ, each year to take time to pray, fast and repentance on Yom Kippur. Powerful testimonies have been received; the holiness of this day is still present. This year, 2023, this day to afflict souls begins on sundown Sunday evening September 24 and ends on the evening of September 25.
National Day of Repentance will be encouraging leaders in His churches to hold repentance services on that Sunday, September 24. Three different models of such repentance services are available on this website.
This call will also be for a Global Day of Repentance. We will encourage participation not just in the United States but in the other 52 nations where we've already connected with leaders similarly called to preach and bear fruit worthy of repentance.
Additionally, during the ten days prior to Yom Kippur, the "ten days of awe," beginning on Rosh Hashanah, September 15, leaders in churches will be encouraged to follow the practice of Elijah, to take Godly authority over the land, in their local county. It's time to reclaim His Godly Sovereignty over His Planet, county by county, state by state, nation by nation.
